Notification is given that pursuant to the authority granted at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 13 May 2009 to make market purchases of the Company’s own shares, a market purchase of 40,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital (“Shares”) of the Company was made on 7 January 2010 at a price of 390p per share.

These shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above, the Company holds 380,274 shares in treasury
